Alien Owners Group - Remains Platform Specs and Differences

With the coming of the 2008 models - the 2008 Remains and Independence - we've done some house cleaning on the old "Alien Marker Specs and Differences" page that is under the Interceptor Technical Info category. It used to contain the 2006 Remains info - we've taken that out and created this page specifically for the "Remains Platform".

Of note is that the 2007 Remains will be a milled extrusion. As a result the eye covers for the '07 Remains is a little different - which is all we know at the moment.

The 2007 Independence will have some cool body milling to it and includes an ultra-low integrated feedneck. It also has a larger volume chamber than the Remains and is capable of even lower operating pressures.

June 1, 2007 Update
- triggers, bolts and cup seals are interchangeable
- Rams are similiar but not interchangeable.
- LPR body on Independence is bigger and has bigger piston - because Independence stores more air in the body and in LPR cap, so it operates at a lower pressure
- ASA is similiar and could be interchanged.

January 3, 2008 Update
- Ram and Bolt info for the 2008 Independence - "SofTouch Bolt" and "SofTouch Hammer" (for the later, bumpers on both sides of the hammer)
